Summary of the Position:

Responsible for commissioning, diagnosing, and repairing temperature control systems, utilizing knowledge in airflow, refrigeration, hydronics, digital controls, and control techniques.

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

• Service assigned equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use manual tools, interpret drawings and specifications for diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, site reconnaissance, replacements, and modifications.
• Plan work by examining building layouts, anticipating issues, and coordinating tasks.
• Maintain vehicles and ensure necessary documentation and tools are available.
• Represent the company and serve as a primary contact with clients.
• Provide customer training and identify sales opportunities.
• Order parts, document projects, and maintain records.
• Stay updated on product installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Occasional travel and availability for overtime or weekend work.

Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or equivalent with 5+ years HVAC experience or 7+ years experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license (minimum 12 months), EPA certification.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent physical activity including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.
• Ability to work outdoors, in mechanical rooms, and in conditions with exposure to noise, chemicals, heights, and variable weather.
