Job summary

Oxford Learning NDG in Montreal, QC is seeking a part-time Teacher-Tutor to help students excel in French, math and science after school and on Saturdays. This in-person role requires reliable attendance and the ability to commute to NDG.

You will work with up to three students at a time, using pre-planned lessons and our approved teaching philosophy. Strong English and French communication, plus solid math and science knowledge, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 11 curriculum including math and science.
• Experience teaching/tutoring English, French, math and science at a K-11 level.
• Strong English and French written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

Responsibilities

Our hours count! Gain valuable teaching experience!Oxford Learning NDGis currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for a role in our learning centre. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys numbers and equations, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.

Teacher-Tutorsat Oxford Learningdo notneed to plan lessonsbefore class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Position Requirements

All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours(4:00 pm - 7:00 pm)as well as Saturdays (9:00 am- 1:00 pm).We prefer a commitment through the end of the school year.Continuing through the summer is even better.Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not available.Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary Range:

Schedule:

• Must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm - 7 pm.
