Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a seasoned French Localization Specialist to deliver high-quality Canadian French translations for digital, marketing, and internal communications. This remote/hybrid contract role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure culturally relevant, brand-compliant content that resonates with Canadian audiences.

The candidate will translate, edit, and proofread material from English to Canadian French, uphold editorial standards, and coordinate with content owners

Qualifications

• 4+ years of localization, translation, or linguistic review experience.
• Expert-level Canadian French language skills, including grammar, spelling, and style.
• Strong understanding of French Canadian cultural and regional nuances.
• Experience with translation management systems (preferably Trados Enterprise).
• Familiarity with machine translation and AI-assisted localization tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure translated content is accurate, culturally relevant, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.

• Translate, localize, edit, and proofread content from English to Canadian French.
• Ensure consistency with brand, legal, compliance, and editorial guidelines.

• Familiarity with video localization workflows.
• Experience working within Agile or sprint-based environments.
