This is a community and population health clinical course for the Yukon cohort of LWYL LPN-BN students.
Applies a population health focus in community settings with diverse populations.
A Bachelor Degree or higher in Nursing and active registration with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association is required. Must be able to meet any immunization requirements of partnering agencies. Previous teaching experience would be considered anasset.
Clinical dates may vary within the term and will be discussed with incumbent. Number of days for clinical time will be calculated to include clinical days and time for evaluation/preparation. Total days/hours will vary depending on group numbers. Number of positions available is dependent upon final class enrolment.
There are two positions availablein the greater Whitehorse area.
If you are currently working, please ensure your direct supervisor/nurse manager is aware of your interest in applying and can support the time offfrom the unit or work with the clinical schedule.
