Responsibilities
- Architect conceptual, logical, and physical solution design, including blueprints, SA artifacts, and process / sequence diagrams.
- Evaluate and translate business requirements into technical requirements and ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architectural standards and security principles.
- Recommend fraud prevention and detection tools and technologies, assessing vendor products like Detica, TSYS, Equifax / Citadel, SAS, Interac / Acxsys, Carreker / CAS, Computrol, Memento.
- Work with business stakeholders, engineering teams, security, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration and successful implementation of solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, and drive architectural governance processes.
- Apply cybersecurity and regulatory principles to ensure solutions meet enterprise data security standards.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Fraud & Payments Expertise : Deep understanding of fraud prevention / detection tools, workflow, scoring models, and concepts related to payments, banking, and customer authentication.
- Technical Acumen : Proficiency in .Net, RESTful APIs, Splunk, event-driven architecture, cloud architecture (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity concepts.
- Architectural Principles : Ability to design for high availability, scalability, reliability, and real-time decisioning.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to conduct discovery analysis, identify issues, and develop creative solutions to meet business needs.

- Cloud Platforms : AWS, Azure, Hybrid including SAS
- Security Concepts : Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), encryption, device biometrics.
