Interac invites you to join the AppOps Intern (Fraud) team in a hybrid Toronto setting, collaborating with developers, QA, and SRE engineers to gain hands-on experience with cloud-native systems. You’ll contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support in an agile squad.

The role emphasizes a strong learning curve in cloud, observability, and incident response, with a path to deepen DevOps practices and improve system resilience through practical tasks.

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a university or college program in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud-native application development and deployment (AWS), including CI/CD pipeline integration
• Build and maintain automated tests (functional, regression, and integration) to ensure system quality and reliability
• Assist with monitoring, alerting, and observability improvements (e.g., dashboards, metrics, logging)
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, helping to improve system stability and resilience
