We are a nationally recognized franchise brand looking for a Franchise Legal Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a key role supporting franchise operations through legal documentation, compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, manage, and execute franchise documentation for new locations, resales, renewals, and related transactions.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of legal documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely sign-off in collaboration with internal stakeholders and legal counsel.
  • Maintain and update Franchise Disclosure Documents in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft legal correspondence, including Letters of Intent, demand and default notices, and termination communications.
  • Respond to franchisee inquiries related to legal documents and compliance.
  • Support compliance enforcement, document renewals, and PPSA registrations, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Track and report on franchisee litigation, disputes, and legal activity.
  • Maintain organized legal files, contract tracking systems, and internal databases.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel and stay informed on franchise law through industry updates and events.
  • Provide legal and administrative support to the franchising team and cross-functional departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Paralegal certification or legal studies education is an asset
  • 3–5 years in franchise law, legal admin, or contracts
  • Strong knowledge of franchise disclosure and compliance
  • Detail-driven, highly organized, and comfortable managing deadlines
