Job description

Store - BRANTFORD, ON

Build customer relationships while creating a memorable framing solution for their art. Help customers shop our store and find what they are looking for. Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment.

Major Activities

1. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
2. Use Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with customers and create custom framing solutions, aiming to meet sales and production targets.
3. Complete framing orders with high quality and within deadlines.
4. Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and directed replenishment.
5. Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and locating products, and ensure the store is well merchandised and stocked.
6. Follow SOPs and support shrink and safety programs.
7. Interact respectfully with others, remain positive, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model.
8. Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, adhering to standards and budget.
9. Operate cash register and handle cash transactions according to standards.
10. Acknowledge customers, assist in locating products, and provide solutions.
11. Assist with Omni-channel processes.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience

• Basic computer skills and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Preferred Experience

• Retail experience.
• Experience in selling products and/or services.

Physical Requirements

• Bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching regularly.
• Ability to move throughout the store and stand for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames, accessing high shelves with ladders.
• Contact supervisor for accommodations if needed.

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting, climate-controlled areas, some outdoor work, and non-climate-controlled stock rooms.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
• Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
