Job summary

Fluor Canada is seeking a senior financial professional to perform complex financial procedures, develop plans, and report on a periodic basis. This role links the area to the planning process and supports business unit control.

You will lead analysis, procedure improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and project managers. The ideal candidate has a four-year degree with extensive finance experience and strong knowledge of ERP SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree and six years of work experience, or a combination equaling ten years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge to complete the job.
• Ability to learn applicable local, provincial, and national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform and apply financial analysis techniques including variance, statistical and cash flow modeling to projects.
• Develop and improve financial procedures and reporting for the area.
• Analyze and document complex work processes and promote quality improvements.
• Provide functional guidance to technicians and less experienced team members.
• Respond to finance questions with advanced understanding of transactions and results.
• Prepare and present financial information to departmental management.
• Other duties as assigned.
