Job Details

Are you an energetic self-starter looking to join a dynamic team? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where the workday flies by? Are you seeking an opportunity where your efforts can lead to growth? If so, we have an immediate opening for a 4th Class Power Engineer at K-Bro Linen Systems.

Located in Burnaby at 8035 Enterprise Street, our modern facility services major hotel brands in Vancouver and Whistler. Since 1954, K-Bro has been a leader in laundry and linen services across Canada and the UK, with nine Canadian facilities and five in the UK.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring production equipment functions properly, troubleshooting, and repairing to maximize uptime.
• Maintaining and repairing all plant and building equipment.
• Completing job requisitions effectively and promptly.
• Performing boiler maintenance activities.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Working with plant personnel to modify and improve processing and packaging equipment.
• Assisting with setup, takedown, or relocation of production equipment.

Qualifications:

• 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate (mandatory)
• Technical skills in industrial and manufacturing engineering
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an asset
• Electrical background is an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
