We have been experiencing exponential growth, and as a result, we are offering Maintenance Millwright Red Seal / Apprentice with Power Engineer positions. Having a Electrical ticket will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide mechanical expertise and support to TOC in mechanical installation and maintenance of plant equipment and production assets.
• Diagnose problems accurately and efficiently, taking appropriate corrective measures, and perform root cause analyses for permanent fixes.
• Repair equipment/parts in the shop if required and collaborate with other trades groups to complete project assignments.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and maintenance shop.
• Understand and follow safety requirements and procedures.
• Read mechanical drawings.
• Have knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, CCP, Lean, 5S, SOP, WHMIS.
• Work with minimal supervision and in a team environment; keep managers informed and take responsibility for actions and decisions.
• Organize and multi-task effectively.
• Interpret blueprints and problem-solve using industry best practices.
• Complete work orders timely and support preventive maintenance cycles.
• Assist other maintenance staff as needed.
• Respond effectively to machinery breakdowns.
• Possess hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical aspects.
• Identify and implement improvements in machinery.
• Maintain organizational skills, attention to detail, and prioritize tasks.
• PLC training, thermal imaging, ultrasound, vibration analysis skills are assets.

Position Requirements

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial / AB/ ON/ BC Millwright or Apprentice.
• Valid Power Engineer Certificate required.
• Certified 4th or 5th class Power Engineer in boiler and refrigeration.
• Experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical plants is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English, with good communication skills.
• Open to PM shifts, flexible shifts including overnight, and OT as needed.
• Availability for 4 x 10 or 5 x 8-hour shifts.
