Job summary

Amarillo Recruiting in Montreal is seeking a Metallurgical Foundry Technician to load furnaces with aluminum/magnesium ingots, cast molten metal into molds, and learn spectrometer analysis. The role runs 40 hours a week, with 4 AM start, Monday to Friday; early Fridays possible and some afternoons off.

You will gain hands-on experience in a leading aerospace parts manufacturer. Ideal candidates have foundry experience, physical stamina, and reliability.

TECHNICIEN(NE) DE FONDERIE MÉTALLURGIQUE

Êtes‑vous prêt(e) à renoncer au gym pour soulever des lingots de 14 kg et travailler dans la chaleur, le bruit et la poussière d'une fonderie? Souhaitez‑vous vous joindre à une équipe soudée, dont certains employés y travaillent depuis plus de 25 ans? Notre client, situé à Montréal, est un fabricant leader de pièces commerciales et militaires pour l'industrie aérospatiale. Il recherche une personne robuste pour charger le four avec des lingots d'aluminium ou de magnésium de 14 kg et couler le métal en fusion dans les moules. Vous serez également formé(e) à l'utilisation d'un spectromètre pour analyser les échantillons de métal. Idéalement, vous avez déjà de l'expérience en fonderie! Vous aurez vos après‑mêmes libres et pourrez même commencer plus tôt le vendredi, car il s'agit d'une semaine de travail de 40 heures, avec une prise de poste à 4 h du matin du lundi au vendredi. Salary: 25$ à 30$ de l'heure, plus avantages sociaux intéressants.

Would you like to join a cohesive team of employees where some have spent over 25 years there? Our client, situated in Montreal, is a leading manufacturer or commercial and military parts for the aerospace industry. They are looking for a strong-bodied individual who will be loading the furnace with 30-pound aluminum or magnesium ingots and pouring the molten metal to fill the molds. You will also be taught to use a spectrometer to measure the metal samples. Ideally, you have had foundry experience already ( ! ). Your afternoons will be free with even earlier Fridays as it's a 40-hour work week with the shift starting at 4:00 AM Monday to Friday.

Salary $25 - $30 per hour plus generous fringe benefits.
