Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking a Senior Associate – Cyber Security Forward Deployed to design and implement production-ready security solutions across cloud and applications. You will lead security architecture reviews, build secure CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with client teams.

You will work in a client-facing, hybrid environment, applying DevSecOps practices and AI-enabled defenses to transform security postures across diverse engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or related STEM field.
• 3–6+ years hands-on software development, security engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with security platforms and secure SDLC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy security solutions across cloud and applications.
• Integrate security products, configure secure baselines, and review cloud security architecture.
• Build production-quality code and secure CI/CD pipelines; create IaC modules and landing zones.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and communicate findings to clients.
• Embed security into the SDLC and collaborate with DevOps to automate security tooling.
