You will work directly with development and client teams to define remediation approaches, implement changes, and enable sustained engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience with production apps.
• Strong focus on Java/JVM development and modernizing enterprise apps.
• Experience with secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and dependency risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead targeted engagements addressing security, testing, release, resilience, and legacy tech with dev teams.
• Assess code, dependencies, runtimes, test coverage, CI/CD, observability, and risks.
• Write, debug, review, and enhance production-quality code and config.
• Define modernization and remediation plans with priorities and risks.
• Develop unit/integration/contract tests and deployment smoke tests.
• Drive automation in CI/CD and release processes; guide testing approaches.
• Source test data and implement secure data masking for lower environments.
• Upgrade runtimes/frameworks and container platforms; lead deployments.
