Job summary

Dart Canada Inc. is seeking a Forming Operator to operate and optimize our PMC machine cells in Scarborough, ON. This role ensures production runs safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards, with uptime and continuous improvement in mind.

You will monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, document production data, and work collaboratively with a team on a unionized shop floor across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• Strong commitment to safety, GMP, and quality.
• Ability to monitor and adjust equipment to maintain productivity.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cell of PMC machines to maximize uptime and quality.
• Follow safety, GMP, and work procedures and maintain records.
• Review daily production schedules and meet targets.
• Perform routine maintenance and coordinate repair support when needed.
• Provide guidance to Lift Truck Operators for material movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area and support continuous improvement.
