Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is hiring 2 Walkie Operators / Warehouse Order Pickers for a well-established automotive parts distributor in Mississauga, ON. Start ASAP; full-time, temp-to-perm with ongoing training provided.

Initial duties cover general labour and manual order-picking; after training, you will operate an Electric Walkie Rider. Must have Walkie certification, be able to lift 50 lbs, and wear CSA‑approved safety footwear. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Walkie / Electric Walkie Rider certification is mandatory.
• No prior Walkie experience required; training provided.
• Previous warehouse and manual order-picking experience is required.
• Experience using RF scanners is an asset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and pass a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout the shift.
• CSA-approved steel-toe footwear must be worn.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare automotive parts orders using RF scanners.
• Perform manual order picking during the initial training period.
• Learn product locations, warehouse layouts, and inventory processes.
• Properly package, label, and prepare orders for shipment.

Job Overview

Fuze HR Solutions is currently hiring 2 Walkie Operators / Warehouse Order Pickers for a well-established automotive parts distribution facility in Mississauga.

Have your Walkie certification but haven't had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Our client is willing to train candidates who hold a valid Walkie certification and have previous warehouse and order-picking experience.

Successful candidates will initially perform General Labour and manual order-picking duties using push carts or pump trucks. Once familiar with the warehouse operations, products, and picking processes, they will receive hands-on training to transition into operating an Electric Walkie Rider.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare automotive parts orders using RF scanners.
• Perform manual order picking using push carts and pump trucks during the initial training period.
• Learn product locations, warehouse layouts, and inventory processes.
• Properly package, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Transition into operating an Electric Walkie Rider after completing the required training.
• Safely handle automotive parts and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
• Assist with other General Labour and warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous hands-on Walkie operating experience is NOT required; training will be provided.
• Previous warehouse and manual order-picking experience is required.
• Experience using RF scanners is an asset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must successfully complete a background check before starting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Must have CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
• Must be flexible to work overtime, including occasional weekends when required.
