Job summary

Conagra Brands is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to support material handling within our Ontario facility. You will operate lift trucks, load and unload materials, and prepare goods for production and shipment.

The role requires familiarity with RF scanners and SAP, plus strong attention to detail. Safety is paramount; you will perform daily equipment checks, ensure accurate inventory, and collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to maintain efficient operations.

• Pre-stage materials for production, labelling or shipments.
• Effectively and efficiently use the mounted or handheld scanners.
• Use SAP R/3 to track inventory movements and update stock levels.
• Assist in performing cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using SAP.
• Conduct daily pre-operational checks and report equipment malfunctions.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling:

• Operate lift trucks to transport goods within the facility.

• Load and unload materials from storage bins, racking, trailers and staging areas.

• Pre-stage materials for production, labelling or shipments.

• SAP R/3 System Use:

• Effectively and efficiently use the mounted or handheld scanners (training will be provided as needed)

• Use SAP R/3 to track inventory movements and update stock levels.

• Assist in performing cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using SAP.

• Safety & Equipment Maintenance:

• Conduct daily pre-operational checks (oil, water, propane, hydraulics, lights, horn).

• Report equipment malfunctions and perform minor troubleshooting.

• Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.

• Refill propane cylinders as required (propane handling certification will be provided)

• Communication & Coordination:

• Work closely with team leads, shift supervisors, shipping clerks, and warehouse supervisors.

• Ensure accurate execution of transactions and proper documentation.

• Communicate effectively regarding inventory issues.

Qualifications:

• Certification s :

• Valid forklift/lift truck operator certification (will provide if needed)

• Propane Handling certification (will provide if needed)

• Skills:

• Familiarity with RF scanners and barcode systems.

• Basic computer literacy for SAP and inventory systems.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in indoor/outdoor environments.

• Must be able to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

• Exposure noise, moving equipment, and variable temperatures.

• Standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
