Job summary

Conagra Brands in Mississauga is seeking a senior planning leader to coach the Canada planning team and elevate forecast and inventory performance. You will lead the monthly IBP process, align cross-functional inputs, and drive strategic improvements across demand, supply, and analytics.

The role requires deep experience in S&OP/IBP, strong analytical skills, and a track record of leading large cross-functional initiatives within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MBA or APICS/ASCM certification is an asset.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive supply chain planning experience with leadership experience.
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP, inventory management, planning analytics, or supply chain transformation.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Planning Team Performance and Capability Lead, coach, and develop the assigned Canada planning team, with clear accountability for planning quality, execution discipline, business partnership, and planner capability. Strengthen assumptions-based planning across relevant business horizons, planning levels, and cross-functional inputs. Improve forecast, supply, inventory, and planning performance through root-cause analysis, assumptions management, performance routines, and disciplined corrective action. Provide planning leadership for innovation, promotions, customer events, portfolio changes, supply constraints, and commercialization activities. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Supply Chain, Demand Science, Supply Planning, Operations, and Planning COE teams to improve planning quality and business outcomes.
  2. Lead Canada IBP Governance and Decision Support Lead Canada's monthly IBP process, including demand and supply reviews, executive decision-making forums, and risks and opportunities management. Ensure demand, supply, inventory, capacity, service, and financial assumptions are visible, reconciled, and translated into timely business decisions. Facilitate cross-functional alignment, clarify trade-offs, and elevate unresolved risks or decisions to the Director of Supply Chain and appropriate leadership forums. Develop scenarios and recommendations that quantify volume, mix, service, inventory, cost, margin, and working-capital implications. Monitor IBP effectiveness and planning performance, ensuring actions have clear ownership, timing, and follow-through.
  3. Modernize Planning Processes and Capabilities Serve as Canada’s principal partner to the Planning COE, Demand Science, IT, Project Catalyst, and related planning-transformation teams. Establish and maintain an integrated Canada planning roadmap spanning demand, supply, inventory, analytics, systems, data, and IBP capabilities. Translate Canadian business requirements into prioritized process, system, data, reporting, and capability improvements. Partner with planning, operations, and functional subject-matter experts to ensure COE solutions meet Canadian business requirements and are adopted effectively. Simplify planning routines, automate recurring activities, improve planner productivity, and measure benefits through forecast, inventory, service, working-capital, and productivity outcomes.
  4. Strengthen Integrated Supply Chain Performance and Partnerships Partner with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation & Warehousing, and Customer Supply Chain to connect demand decisions with supply, inventory, service, and customer outcomes. Improve visibility to inventory health, forecast-driven exposure, supply constraints, service risk, and recovery requirements. Build strong partnerships with Canadian business teams, the U.S. Planning COE, Mexico, Global Markets Supply Chain, and other North American planning organizations. Act as a Canada Supply Chain planning lead in cross-functional discussions, providing insight, constructive challenge, and clear recommendations. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making across the planning community.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or a related field required; MBA, advanced degree, or APICS/ASCM certification is an asset.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive supply chain planning experience, including leadership of people, projects, or cross-functional planning processes; CPG, food, manufacturing, or complex matrixed experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP, inventory management, planning analytics, or supply chain transformation.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional planning processes and influencing Commercial, Finance, Operations, Customer Supply Chain, and Supply Chain partners.
  • Experience implementing planning process, system, analytics, change-management, or capability improvements.
  • Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge, including demand and supply planning, inventory, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, customer service, and financial trade-offs.
  • Deep understanding of S&OP/IBP governance, decision forums, assumptions management, risks and opportunities, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate complex data into practical insights, scenarios, recommendations, and leadership narratives.
  • Business acumen connecting volume, mix, inventory, service, cost, margin, and working capital.
  • Ability to lead through influence, manage conflict, clarify decision rights, and build alignment in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, project management, change leadership, and continuous‑improvement skills.
  • Experience with advanced planning and ERP platforms such as Blue Yonder and SAP, along with Power BI, advanced Excel, or comparable analytics tools, is preferred.

Pay Range:$101,000-$150,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
