Job summary

ATCO Structures & Logistics Ltd in Grimsby, Ontario, is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to support our manufacturing facility. You will manage material handling, load/unload shipments, and support production with timely deliveries.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3 pm EST, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Previous forklift experience and ERP familiarity are preferred, with opportunities for growth within a global modular construction

Qualifications

• Certified Forklift Operator with 3–5 years of forklift and material handling experience.
• Ability to work a 6:30 am to 3 pm EST shift, Monday to Friday.
• Strong commitment to safety as a top priority.
• Construction industry experience would be an asset.
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of material receiving processes and cycle counts.
• Comfortable using ERP and related software.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize assigned areas and materials to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate forklift and unload incoming shipments from trailers.
• Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bills of lading.
• Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
• Complete inventory consumption on all inventory transactions and relocations.
• Assist with garbage and recycling removal.
• Support Production with line moves as required.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
