Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro in Canada is seeking a Forklift Operator to support the Canada Supply Chain team. You will operate forklifts, move pallets, load/unload trucks, and help maintain accurate inventory while following safety procedures.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of PIT experience, be able to perform basic math, read and write, and be available for multiple shifts. The role emphasizes safe and efficient material handling within the facility.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating a PIT or other heavy equipment.
• Basic math functions such as adding, subtracting and dividing.
• Able to read and write.
• Able to complete pre-shift inspection forms.
• Available to work multiple shifts.
• Promotes safety in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product using forklift or other power equipment.
• Prepare organic mixes and relocate piles to ensure segregation of materials.
• Supply production with a continuous stock of material; monitor stockpiles.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Perform picking duties and assist in loading to trailers.
• Maintain records to ensure tight inventory control and security.
