Job summary

Agropur is seeking a warehouse associate in Ontario to operate warehouse machinery such as Walkie, Reach, and Counterbalance forklifts. You will participate in picking, receiving, loading, and replenishment while handling items weighing up to 50 lbs.) The role requires English communication and availability for all shifts in a temperature-controlled environment.

Guaranteed full-time hours with overtime opportunities, paid training, and a benefits package including health coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Available for all shifts (morning, afternoon, night and weekends).
• Comfortable working swing shifts.
• Two years experience on forklift (walkie and reach truck).
• Basic ability to communicate in English.
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
• Experience in the food industry is an asset.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse machinery (Ride-along Walkie, Reach Truck and Counterbalance)
• Warehouse functions include: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment, etc.
• Handle goods that can weigh between 40 to 50 pounds
• Working in a temperature-controlled environment with company provided PPE and refrigerated gear
• Monitor and report inventory losses

• Hourly Rate starts at $28.20/hr
• Premiums of $0.75 (Aft) or $0.85 (Ngt).
• Guaranteed full-time position with 40 hours a week.
• Overtime is available based on business needs at a time and a half rate or double-time rate as applicable.
• Paid training for all job tasks and requirements
• 2 weeks of vacations after one year of service, increasing to 3 weeks after three years.
