Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a part-time warehouse worker to operate forklift equipment, assist with picking, receiving, loading and replenishment, and help monitor inventory in a temperature-controlled environment. The role requires light lifting (up to 50 lbs) and basic math skills, with-training provided and scheduling around school commitments.

Shifts cover morning, afternoon, evening, and night hours; overtime is available based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Available for all shifts (morning, afternoon, night and weekends).
• Basic ability to communicate in English.
• One year experience on forklift mainly on walkie and Reach Truck.
• Experience working in a warehouse.
• Experience in the food industry is an asset.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work full time until you go back to school in September.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse machinery (Ride-along Walkie, Reach Truck and Counterbalance).
• Warehouse functions include: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment, etc.
• Handle goods weighing 40 to 50 pounds.
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment with PPE and refrigerated gear.
• Monitor and report inventory losses.

It’s a part-time position with 24 hours of work per week, and your schedule will be arranged around your school schedule. The hours for the position are day 6am to 2:30pm, evening 2pm to 10:30pm and night 10pm to 6:30am. Overtime is available based on business needs at a time and a half rate or double-time rate as applicable. Paid training for all job tasks and requirements
