Job summary

You will operate sit-down forklifts, load/unload trailers, inspect loads, and maintain accurate shipping records. The role requires endurance for 12-hour shifts, adherence to safety procedures, and good communication within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Operate conventional and/or doublewide industrial trucks to transport loads.
• Load/unload trailers and secure loads according to procedures.
• Inspect and verify loads against packing slips and production schedules.
• Generate bills of lading and relevant shipping papers.
• Maintain accurate records of loads and dock activity.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts and other equipment to move materials.
• Load and unload trailers, secure or remove dock plates as needed.
• Ensure accurate counts and correct any discrepancies in shipment quantities.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and follow safety procedures.
