Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a fast-paced cross-dock warehouse in Surrey, BC. You will operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift and support shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and inventory.

This contract-to-hire role requires at least one year of cross-dock and warehouse experience, a valid propane sit-down counterbalance forklift ticket, and RF scanner proficiency. Expect 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shifts and safety-first environment with casual dress code.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of LTL or cross-dock experience.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/shipping and receiving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of sit-down counterbalance forklift experience.
• Valid propane sit-down counterbalance forklift ticket.
• RF scanner experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• TDG training required before starting. Paid training is provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Surrey, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $24.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
