Job summary

Cryopak, a leader in cold chain packaging, seeks a Forklift Operator to move and stock merchandise safely at our Montreal facility. You will unload inbound shipments, prepare orders, and maintain accurate inventory records using a forklift.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 1–2 years forklift experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, basic math, and good teamwork and safety awareness. This on-site role offers steady shifts and hands-on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift.
• Maintain equipment and area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion with safety in mind.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and report variances.
• Move product from staging areas into trailers and manage inventory records.
• Assist in physical inventories.

Cryopak is an innovative, cold chain & temperature-controlled packaging solutions manufacturer, for pharmaceutical, life science, biotech, food, and electronic companies. Cryopak helps to maintain the integrity of our customer’s products through the design, testing and manufacturing of packaging and materials for shipping cold chain products. We also provide the hardware and software for temperature verification along the distribution process.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

Our Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to fill.

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed safety policies.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
• Efficiently move product from staging and /or staging areas into trailers.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have 1-2 years previous forklift operating experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times daily
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical operations.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 4 hours a day before a break period.
