Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Mississauga branch. The role involves managing materials, performing audits, and coordinating shipping and distribution to production teams and customers.

The position requires minimum 2 years on a Counterbalance forklift; experience with Combi or Walkie is a plus. Day shift, full-time hours, and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience operating a Counterbalance forklift.
• Previous experience operating a Combi forklift and Walkie are assets.
• Experience with boat wrapping or shrink wrapping is an asset.
• Experience with inventory processes and use of hand held devices for warehouse operations.
• Strong aptitude for working with numbers.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage raw materials inventory, perform regular audits, and verify materials in inbound/outbound shipments.
• Picking orders and distributing materials to the staging area in a timely and efficient manner.
• Regularly clean and organize work areas.
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Operate a Walkie forklift.
• Prepare skids for shipping (shrink wrapping etc.).
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Work under minimum direction from Shipping/Receiver Supervisor.

Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team! If you have experience operating a Counterbalance forklift - this could be the position for you! Reporting to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, the Forklift Operator is responsible for managing materials within our warehouse and regularly performing audits on materials and coordinating shipping and distribution of materials to the production teams, internal customers, and external customers. This position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry Road in Mississauga.

Position available:

Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM

A Day in the Life:
