Job summary

Westlake Chemical is hiring for a 12-hour rotating continental shift position in our Vaughan, Canada facility. The role requires loading and unloading pigments, operating Mova Units, and maintaining accurate reports and inventory control.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pigments for colour change in Mova Units.
• Identify differences between material, PVC, T05 and T31 for CAP.
• Complete reports for each line accurately.
• Inform Quality Control on lot number changes.
• Monitor silo levels, including T31 and T05.
• Store pigment not in use in proper container and location.
• Ensure electrical panels are not blocked and work area is clean.
• Communicate any changes with Quality Control, Operators and Material Handler B.
• Inform shifts about planned changes and other issues.
• Report to Shift Supervisor any issues and follow the change schedule.
• Participate in mid and year-end inventory counts if needed.
• Adapt to new procedures and programs as required.
• Comply with all company policies including Health and Safety.
