Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Calgary seeks an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join a local client’s team. You will inspect machinery, unload incoming trucks, manage receiving/delivery actions and ensure accurate labeling and storage based on temperature and processes.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery before use to ensure it is working properly.
• Unload product from incoming trucks
• Identify shortages/damages and communicate with pertaining parties upon receiving a load
• Label the product correctly before storing it in designated coolers based on temperature
• Use of wireless RF Scanning equipment
• Select orders in an accurate and timely manner according to the picking slip
• Load orders accurately and safely in trucks as per the shipment confirmation
• Ensure receiving report, picking slip and shipment confirmation are completed as per company policies
• Handle product in a manner that prevents contamination and/or damage
• Ensure full compliance with all operating, sanitation and safety standards
• Other responsibilities relevant to the position will be assigned as required
