Job summary

Schlumberger Limited, now part of SLB, seeks a Forge Machine Operator for our Edmonton, AB manufacturing site. This role is full-time and involves joining a global technology company that drives energy innovation for a balanced planet.

You will perform quality inspections, operate the forging machine, and handle setup adjustments, paperwork and routine maintenance. The position requires teamwork, English communication, and adaptability to rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Overtime as required.

What You Will Do:

• Complete quality inspections of product
• Operate the forging machine
• Perform minor setup adjustments
• Grind rods as required
• Complete associated paperwork as required

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Drug and alcohol testing
• Fitness-to-work testing
• Background check
• Working at the Edmonton manufacturing facility
• Permanent
• Full-time
• Rotating shift between day, afternoon and night
• Weekend and overtime may be required dependent on business conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Overtime as required

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
