Job summary

ChampionX is hiring a Mechanic/Millwright for Peace River, AB. The role focuses on field and shop mechanical services, disassembly/rebuilds, and troubleshooting in a multi-site environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mechanical assembly and service, with engines/compressors experience and a valid Class 5 license. The position may involve day shifts with overtime, and field reports are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical assembly and service.
• Experience with natural gas engines, wellheads, and compressors is an asset.
• Strong understanding of engine and compressor performance and operations.
• Experience working with machinery and power tools.
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field service calls as required.
• Provide mechanical services in both field and shop environments.
• Provide professional and timely service.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Perform component testing.
• Complete field service reports.
• Maintain and repair equipment, tools and company vehicles.

What You Will Do:

• Conducts field service calls asrequired
• Provide mechanical services in both field and shop environments
• Provides professional andtimelyservice
• Disassembles, cleans, inspects, and rebuilds equipment
• Assistsin troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Performscomponenttesting
• Completes field service reports

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Drug and alcohol testing
• Fitness-to-work testing
• Drivers’ abstract

Position Details:

• Workingat thePeace Riverfacility,customer sites, remote locations

• Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime asrequired
• Weekend or night shifton-call rotations
