Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services
- Recommend measures to improve productivity
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
- Establish work schedules
- Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Prepare production and other reports
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
- Monitor safety conditions
