PRT Summit is seeking seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to assist with our upcoming seedling harvest. This physical, outdoor role offers the chance to contribute to reforestation across North America and includes full training.

You'll work in a team under a Nursery Manager, handling lifting tasks in greenhouses, learning nursery activities, and committing to safety and quality. Hours progress from half days to full-time over six weeks; compensation begins at 18.54/hour with potential to move to

• Reliable transportation to reach PRT Summit site daily.

A Day in the Life

FOREST NURSERY WORKER, LIFT

We are currently seeking to fill an existing vacancy on our team.

PRT Summit is looking for seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to help with our upcoming tree seedling harvest. If you want a physical, fast‑paced outdoor job that makes a positive environmental impact, this is for you! You'll be lifting tree seedlings for reforestation across North America. No specific work experience is needed – we'll provide full training.

Your Role & What You'll Do

You’ll work as part of a supportive team under the guidance of a Nursery Manager. Your main duties will involve:

• Lifting tree seedlings in greenhouses.
• Learning about forest nursery activities.
• Working independently and efficiently.
• Committing to quality and safety in a safe work environment.
• Please note, this role is not eligible for relocation or accommodation support.

• Reliable transportation to get to the PRT Summit site daily
• Interested in and able to work in all types of outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour work shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly through the entire shift.
• Appropriate work attire.
• Good manual dexterity and eyesight.
• A team‑oriented personality with a positive attitude.
• A desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration.

Additional Information

Dates: Wed Oct 21st, 2026 – Dec. 4th

Hours: ½ days the first week, then full‑time hours for the remaining 6 weeks.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary information: 18.54/HOUR and transitioning to piecework with greater earning potential
