Job summary

PRT Summit in British Columbia is seeking seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to assist with our seedling harvest. This outdoor, fast-paced role offers hands-on training and meaningful environmental impact.

You will lift seedlings, learn nursery operations, and work with a supportive team under a Nursery Manager. The role starts with half-day hours for the first week and moves to full-time hours for the six remaining weeks.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to the PRT Summit site daily.
• Able to work in all outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks during an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Good manual dexterity and eyesight.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration.

We are currently seeking to fill an existing vacancy on our team.

PRT Summit is looking for seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to help with our upcoming tree seedling harvest. If you want a physical, fast-paced outdoor job that makes a positive environmental impact, this is for you! You'll be liftingtree seedlings for reforestation across North America. No specific work experience is needed – we'll provide full training.

Your Role & What You'll Do

You'll work as part of a supportive team under the guidance of a Nursery Manager. Your main duties will involve:

• Lifting tree seedlings in greenhouses.
• Learning about forest nursery activities.
• Working independently and efficiently.
• Committing to quality and safety in a safe work environment.

Additional Information

Dates: Wed Oct 21st, 2026 – Dec. 4th

Hours: ½ days the first week, then full-time hours for the remaining 6 weeks.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary information: 18.54/HOUR and transitioning to piecework with greater earning potential
