Job summary

Ledcor is seeking experienced Forepersons for a winter reclamation and haul road construction project across Fort McKay AB. You will lead a crew of equipment operators, coordinate daily site activities, and uphold Ledcor’s safety standards in a demanding outdoor environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong heavy civil background, hands-on equipment operation, and the ability to drive a team safely and productively through long shifts and challenging weather conditions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Must have reclamation experience (dump site setup, soil stripping, windowing and material stockpiling).
  • Must have experience in haul road construction.
  • Must have experience operating equipment: haul trucks (777/785), dozers (D6 to D10) and excavators (20-80T).
  • Leadership training is highly preferred.
  • Ground Disturbance 201 certification.
  • Must have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must be available for day / night shifts.

Work Conditions
  • 14 days on / 7 days off , working 12 hours per day
  • Camp accommodation provided
  • Travel allowance
  • Charter flights from Edmonton / Calgary
