Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking an experienced Serviceperson for the CNRL Albian Reclamation project in Fort Mackay, AB. You will service heavy equipment, perform safety inspections, and document maintenance while working a 14 days on/off rotation with 12-hour shifts.

Travel allowance and camp accommodations are provided; start mid-October 2026 with potential extension. Must pass drug/alcohol testing and safety orientations.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Serviceperson on heavy equipment (mining, heavy civil or pipeline environment preferred).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
  • Must be available for day and night shifts.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clear 3-year driver's abstract.
  • Must complete CSTS 09, CSO or OSSA BSO safety orientations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate fuel & lube articulated rock trucks to service heavy equipment as required and directed.
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
  • Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairs.
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
  • Adhere to Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements.
  • Project-based role with 14 days on and 14 days off, 12-hour days.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Operate fuel & lube articulated rock trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
  • Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairs
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation as required

  • Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Serviceperson on heavy equipment (mining, heavy civil or pipeline environment is preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative, and proactively identify and address tasks
  • Must be available for day / night shifts
  • Valid Driver's License and clear 3-year driver's abstract
  • Must successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test CSTS 09, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
Work Conditions
  • Project based position working 14 days on and 14 days off, working 12 hours per day
  • Work is anticipated to be completed in April 2027 with potential for extension
  • Travel allowance provided
  • Chartered flights from Calgary or Edmonton
  • Camp accommodations

  • Work will be primarily outdoors and in various weather conditions
