Job summary

Option Excavating Inc. is seeking an experienced Foreman / Supervisor to lead our underground water and sewer crews. You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate crews and equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership, read construction drawings and grades, and promote a strong safety culture on every job. Immediate start available in a full-time role with ongoing opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as Foreman or Supervisor in underground water and sewer construction.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and grades.
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead water and sewer construction crews on a daily basis.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and grades.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and quality control.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Identify and resolve job site challenges efficiently.
• Complete daily reports and required project documentation.
• Mentor and support crew members while fostering a positive team environment.
