Job summary

Arsenault Bros Construction Ltd. in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead interior systems crews on residential and commercial projects.

You will coordinate daily site tasks, read blueprints, and ensure work meets quality, code, and safety standards while supporting crew members with hands-on work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in drywalling, framing, ceilings, or interior systems, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage schedules and collaborate

Qualifications

• Strong experience in drywall, framing, ceilings, or interior systems (5+ years preferred).
• Proven leadership ability on construction sites.
• Ability to manage schedules, delegate tasks, and solve on-site issues.
• Comfortable reading construction drawings and coordinating with trades.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews on interior systems installations (steel stud, drywall, ceilings, etc.)
• Coordinate daily tasks, monitor progress, and communicate updates to project managers
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Ensure all work meets quality, code, and safety standards
• Support team members with hands-on work as needed (e.g., drywall hanging, taping, ceiling installation)
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce OH&S procedures on site
• Maintain materials inventory and report site needs proactively
• Foster a respectful, productive, and professional job site culture

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Foreman to lead and support our team on residential and commercial interior systems projects in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in our Nova Scotia branch.

About the Role

As a Foreman, you'll play a key leadership role on-site managing interior systems crews, coordinating daily tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and helping deliver projects on time and on budget. Your background in drywalling, steel stud framing, and acoustical systems makes you a hands-on leader who leads by example and ensures work is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews on interior systems installations (steel stud, drywall, ceilings, etc.)
• Coordinate daily tasks, monitor progress, and communicate updates to project managers

Assets (Not Required)
