Job summary

Sport Chek in Canada’s footwear division is seeking a Department Sales Manager of Footwear to lead a high-performing team and drive exceptional customer experiences. You will coach staff, create growth plans, and execute daily sales strategies in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a retail environment, supervisory preferred.
• Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop department staff by setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting ongoing development.
• Build and manage a daily game and sales plan for the footwear department.
• Create development plans for full-time staff and mentoring to close performance gaps.
• Develop relationships with customers and mentor team to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Communicate skills through huddles, meetings, and coaching sessions.
• Maintain a positive work environment for staff.
