Job summary

Sport Chek in Canada is seeking a Department Sales Manager of Clothing who is passionate about sports and active living. You will coach and develop the department team, drive sales, and maintain merchandising standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience across our clothing lines.

You’ll lead daily sales initiatives, provide mentorship, and create development plans for staff. A strong customer focus and leadership presence are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a retail environment, preferably at a supervisory level.
• Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
• Interest in or involvement in sports or sporting goods is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop department team by setting expectations and providing ongoing feedback.
• Build and manage a daily game and sales plan for the department.
• Develop development plans for full-time staff and communicate through effective huddles/meetings.
