Job summary

Yee Hong is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with meal delivery, portioning, dessert service, dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning in accordance with policies. This role requires standing, lifting heavy trays and following safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have completed or be enrolled in a Food Service Worker program, hold a Food Handler Safety Certificate, and be able to communicate in English; Chinese language skills are an asset.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Food Service Worker program or current enrollment.
• Current Food Handler Safety Certificate.
• Some experience in food services industry.

Job description

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of, or is currently enrolled in a recognized Food Service Worker Program
• Current Food Handler Safety Certificate
• Some experience in food services industry
• Ability to lift heavy industrial size food trays, pots and pans
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese an asset

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

• Considerable standing, walking, lifting and bending.
• Exposure to all resident care elements through occasional resident contact
• Occasional shift work, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Exposed to noise, high temperature and moisture while working in the dish room and pot washing areas

2026-08-20 Salary Range: $20.71 - $23.05
