Job summary

Aramark Canada in Ottawa is seeking a self-motivated food service worker responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting customers, and ensuring food safety standards are followed in a friendly manner.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work well within a team. Prior food service experience is an asset, and applicable certifications are welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Check food quality, freshness, and proper temperatures.
• Store and label food properly.
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies.
• Operate kitchen and food service equipment safely.
• Handle cash and process customer payments when required.
• Dispose of garbage and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other duties as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations and workplace policies.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
