Job summary

Aramark Canada is hiring part-time food service workers for Queen's Hospitality Services in Kingston. You will greet guests, take orders at the POS, and help prepare and present meals while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

The role requires flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with attention to food safety and portion control. You will work with a friendly team, support busy service periods, and help ensure a positive dining experience for guests and staff

Qualifications

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.

• Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
• Customer service experience is an asset but not required.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Timely preparation of a variety of food items.
• Coordinate and assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and uniform policy.
• Communicate with Manager daily for daily menu accuracy.
• Supervise food temperature requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work/storage areas.
• Follow cleanliness procedures including sweeping/mopping/ware washing.
• Maintain neat garbage areas and kitchen floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Connect with the Manager daily to understand and accurately prepare menu for the day
• Supervise the food temperature requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area
• Scrub and polish counters, clean and sanitize steam tables, and other equipment
• Follow established procedures and standards for cleanliness, to ensure a balanced and safe environment; duties include sweeping, mopping, ware washing
• Maintain garbage collection site and kitchen floor areas in a neat and sanitary fashion
• Perform other duties as assigned including other areas in the kitchen

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
