Job summary

Bento Sushi is seeking Food Service Team Members to join our Ottawa-area location. You will prepare sushi and other menu items, follow recipes, and maintain strict food safety and inventory logs. Prior sushi experience is not required, but helpful; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required; sushi experience is an asset.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.

• Track daily production and assist in kitchen operations.
• Receive, check, and organize inventory, and assist with ordering.
• Work closely with store staff and management to ensure smooth sushi bar operations.
• Use Bento operations tools to update production, inventory, and other data.
• Maintain Bento customer experience standards.
