Job summary

Tim Hortons in Shelburne is hiring three Food Service Supervisors to help supervise daily restaurant operations, support team members and maintain the high standards of food quality and customer service expected at Tim Hortons.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with approximately 30 to 40 hours of work per week. Candidates should be available for a variety of shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong customer service skills, excellent oral communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Dependability, initiative, flexibility and ability to work varying shifts.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of employees who prepare, portion and serve food.
• Establishing methods to ensure work schedules and operational requirements are met.
• Preparing and establishing staff work schedules.
• Training employees in job duties, sanitation procedures and workplace safety.
• Ensuring food preparation and customer service meet established quality standards.
• Addressing customer concerns and complaints professionally.
• Maintaining records relating to inventory, stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Preparing and submitting required reports.
• Supporting the efficient operation of the restaurant during assigned shifts.
• Maintaining knowledge of the establishment’s food products and service standards.
• Supervising teams ranging from 1–2 employees to larger teams of 5–10 employees, depending on the shift and location.

Additional Shelburne Location: 301 Col Phillips Dr, Shelburne, ON L9V 3W1

Wage: $19.23–$21.23 per hour, to be negotiated
Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
