Job summary

Terrace Food Court seeks a part-time Food Service Supervisor in Canada to lead a small team of 5–10. You will train staff, ensure quality and safety standards, manage inventory, and address customer concerns in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum education as described; 1–2 years experience in food service; 30 hours per week with morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Education as described: college/CEGEP or diploma for 3 months to <1 year or equivalent experience.
• Experience in food service preferred, with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies for meal prep.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure food and service meet quality standards.
• Address customer complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
