Job summary

A well-known fast food chain in Coquitlam is looking for a supervisor to oversee food preparation and staff. You will ensure quality control in food and service while training staff and managing schedules. The ideal candidate has a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $27.00. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Must have knowledge of culinary genres.
  • Ability to train staff in job duties and procedures.

Overview
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
