Qualifications

• Experience in food service management or supervision.
• FoodSafe Level 1 Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and WHMIS.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple food service units under the Manager on duty.
• Oversee production, cash readings, staff scheduling, hiring and training.
• Resolve labour relation issues and prepare weekly reports on inventories and costs.
• Provide positive, responsive service to café patrons and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with QA, HACCP, OHSA, WHMIS, and safety programs.
• Coordinate inspections and WHMIS training; report incidents to head office.
