Job summary

Trillium Health Partners is seeking a part-time Food Service Representative to support Nutrition and Food Services at Credit Valley Hospital. You will assist with tray assembly, nourishment delivery, and patient meals while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

The role requires Grade 12 education, a valid food handlers’ certificate, strong customer service, and teamwork. This on-site position offers all shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, with competitive hourly pay and

• Knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP) an asset.
• Previous hospital experience working in Nutrition & Food Services an asset
• Ability to work under minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks
• Proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Customer service skills essential
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A positive work and attendance record is essential

Physical Demands

• Must have the physical strength to meet requirements of job
• Considerable walking, lifting, standing and bending
• Concentration with attention to detail, especially when working on the patient food service beltline
• Standing for long periods of time in one spot
• Working in both hot and cold temperature environments
