Job summary

Halton Healthcare is hiring for a part-time role focused on assembling and delivering patient meals within our hospital setting in Oakville, Ontario. The position requires flexibility across all shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a starting hourly wage of $27.64–$28.17.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed. The ideal candidate will have Food Handler's Certification (or be willing to obtain one), knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP, experience in food

Qualifications

• Must be willing to acquire the Food Handler's Certification.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP regulations.
• Knowledge of industrial food service equipment.
• Customer service experience preferable in the food service industry.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with volunteers and patients, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver patient meals.
• Prepare and deliver patient trays, and perform warewashing/cleaning.
• Organize and stock supplies; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Responsible for the assembly and delivery of patient meals. Duties include preparing and delivery of patient trays, cleaning & warewashing, organizing and stocking supplies and other duties assigned.
