Alberta Health Services (AHS) is hiring a Food Service I to join the Nutrition Food Service team at Two Hills Health Centre. You will perform routine food preparation tasks, portion and package meals, and serve patients and customers while keeping areas clean and sanitary.

The role is casual/relief with shifts that vary, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and on-call. Minimum wage starts at $22.05 hourly, with a maximum of $23.69, and posting ends on 12-Nov-2026.

Formación

• Grade 10 completion is required.
• Physically capable to lift up to 46 lbs and push/pull meal carts up to 250 lbs.
• Must be able to walk and stand for the duration of shift.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.Physically capable to lift food, supplies and equipment up to 46lbs and must be able to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs.This position requires you to walk and stand on your feet for the duration of your shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

Customer service experience. Food service experience. Experience in a hospital or long-term care environment. Experience with inventory management; receiving deliveries, managing expiry dates and minimizing waste while utilizing “First in- First Out” procedures. Experience with Industrial Food Service Equipment. Food Safe Certificate or equivalent. WHMIS training.
